🍳 Kitchen Facilities

☕ Coffee & Tea, Guest Condiments & Amenities

Coffee and tea-making facilities are available in your kitchen and are replenished daily.

Your apartment is stocked with complimentary tea, instant coffee, sugar, sweeteners, and milk. Should you need condiment replacements or extras such as plunger coffee bags are available upon request from Reception. 

🔥 Cooktop, Rangehood & Oven

Cooking Safety – Induction Cooktop ⚠️

• Always switch on the rangehood when cooking.

• Never leave food unattended — induction cooktops heat rapidly.

• Smoke from burnt food may trigger the alarm.

• If smoke occurs (without fire):

  1. Press the Fire Alarm Silence button located beside the light switch near your entry door.

  2. Turn the rangehood to maximum.

  3. Do not open your apartment door unless there is an actual emergency, as this will activate the full building evacuation alarm.

• False alarms may result in fines from Fire & Emergency NZ.
  
  

To Operate the Cooktop:

1. Turn on the isolator switch located on the splashback.

2. Hold your finger on the lock button to unlock.

3. Select the element you wish to use.

4. Adjust heat using + / –.

5. To turn off, reduce heat until the numbers disappear.
   
   

Rangehood:
Fan speed and light switches are located underneath the unit on the right-hand side.

Oven:

1. Turn the dial to select your cooking function.

2. Set the desired temperature.

3. Adjust the timer — the oven will automatically turn off once the timer ends.

🍲 Microwave Oven

• Use only microwave-safe dishes (all provided crockery is microwave-safe).

• Do not use metal utensils or containers.

• Select the desired time and power, then press Start.

• Splatter-proof lids are provided in all apartments.
  
  

🍽️ Dishwasher

• Load the dishwasher and place a tablet or powder in the cutlery basket.

• Dishwasher powder/tablets are stored in the cupboard under the sink.

• Select Power On, choose your program (P), and press Start.

• Do not use dishwashing liquid as bubbles will spill out of the dishwasher.

• Additional tablets or powder are available from Reception.

🧴 Dishwashing Liquid

Complimentary dishwashing liquid is provided for in-apartment use only.
Please leave it in your apartment upon departure - removal will incur additional charges.
